When it comes to procedures, preparation is just as important as performance. Our newest iSim, Chest Tube Setup (Neonate), is designed to strengthen the skills of setting up for the procedure. From gathering and organizing equipment to ensuring safety checks are complete, this module highlights the essential steps that allow the clinician performing the procedure to focus fully on patient care.

We’re excited to use this platform to practice one of the essential steps of patient safety: setting up for procedures. Whether preparing for a chest tube insertion, an operation in the OR or any other clinical intervention, readiness at the setup stage is what ensures safety and efficiency when the procedure begins.
