Sim First When Seconds Count: Simulations help prepare code teams

Each year, UAB Clinical Simulation hosts interprofessional Code Blue simulations to sharpen teamwork, communication and life-saving skills. This summer, internal medicine residents, registered nurses and respiratory therapists stepped into a simulated hospital environment to practice ACLS in real time.

Clinical Simulation, UAB Care host sim for psychiatry

This past June, UAB Clinical Simulation collaborated with UAB Care to conduct an in silico (computer-based) simulation for residents and nurses in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology.
