Mobile Simulation
Simulation is a proven training strategy for all members of the health care team. Training in a simulated setting improves patient safety and generates cost savings for the institution. UAB Medicine’s mobile simulation lab helps provide this resource to rural communities across the state. As part of our Alabama Rural Health Collaborative (ARHC) efforts, the 38-foot mobile lab features two simulation areas and is equipped with the latest simulation technology. It is the only mobile lab of its kind in Alabama, and we can bring it to you!
Our program is designed to support the educational objectives in these rural institutions. Our highly trained staff can work with the leadership and the educators to deliver simulations that complement and enhance the existing initiatives.

Facilitator Training
Want to facilitate sim? Our partnership with SimUAB® offers our partner hospitals access to facilitator development courses. Support for the first time facilitator to the expert is available.
Virtual Reality
We can host a VR event for you. Choose the module(s) and we will bring all of the equipment and provide support. There are many modules to choose from.
